About Adventure Clothes Co

Made thoughtfully for everyday adventures.

Adventure Clothes Co. creates comfortable, everyday pieces from thoughtfully chosen organic cotton fabrics. Everything is handmade in small batches in Central Wisconsin, with an emphasis on quality, durability, and styles that fit naturally into real life.
I believe choosing better materials shouldn’t mean changing your personal style. These are pieces meant to be lived in — worn often, washed often, loved for years, and passed along when they still have more adventures left in them.

Where it started

I'm Catherine, and sewing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I learned from my grandmothers when I was young, and those early lessons grew into a lifelong love of sewing and making things well. In 2018, when my youngest started school, I turned that love into Adventure Clothes Co.
From the beginning, I cared about good fabric, careful construction, and making clothing that would last. Over time, I became increasingly intentional about the materials I use and where they come from, and Adventure Clothes evolved right along with me.

Why organic cotton?

What touches our skin every day matters.
Today, I focus on organic cotton because I want Adventure Clothes pieces to feel good in more ways than one — soft and comfortable to wear, thoughtfully made, and free from the synthetic fibers that dominate so much modern clothing.
Cotton also makes sense for real life. It’s breathable, washable, comfortable, and familiar — exactly what I want everyday clothing to be.

Why American-made fabric?

Whenever possible, I choose fabrics made here in the United States.
For me, buying American-made is a lot like choosing to shop at a local farmers market: it keeps more of the process closer to home, supports domestic businesses and makers, and reduces the amount of long-distance international shipping involved in getting materials to my sewing table.
It also allows me to know more about the fabrics I’m working with and choose materials I’m proud to turn into finished pieces.

Small batches, on purpose

Adventure Clothes isn’t a factory.

I cut and sew in small batches, which means quantities are limited and the colors, prints, and styles available are always changing.

That approach lets me choose fabrics carefully, pay attention to construction, and make what my customers are actually excited to wear rather than producing huge amounts of inventory.

It also means that when you find a piece you love, it really is something a little special.

Made to become part of your story.

Whether it’s the hoodie you reach for every morning, the outfit your child refuses to take off, or the piece that eventually gets handed down to someone else, I hope Adventure Clothes becomes part of your everyday adventures.
